Internet Service Provider (ISP)
An ISP, or Internet Service Provider, is the company you pay to connect your home or phone to the internet. Because they operate the physical network that hooks you up to the web, every single piece of data you send or receive has to pass through their hands first. This creates a huge privacy concern because your ISP can track and log every website you visit, how long you stay there, and what device you are using. In many places, laws actually allow ISPs to bundle up this private browsing history and sell it to advertising companies to make extra money. Unless you protect your traffic with tools like a VPN or built-in network encryption, your ISP essentially has a front-row seat to your entire digital life.

Drift Mobile was founded in 2026 when a I asked a question that had no good answer: why does using the internet require surrendering so much of yourself to it? Why are we OK with being the product? With letting our children be the product?
I am a mechanical engineer by trade, but I believe in this, and I am partnering with the excellent technical talent to do something about it. Not just for the tech guy, but for the everyman. For me. For you.
We envision a world where you don't have to be a monk to not sell your sould to big tech. Not a privacy product for tech experts. Not a device so locked-down it's unusable. A genuinely beautiful, genuinely capable platform that families could trust completely — and own completely.
